Trovarit survey 2014: APplus scores points with high level of user satisfaction

ERP systems play a crucial role in the profitability of the majority of companies today, as they define to a large extent the efficiency and transparency of work processes and procedures in these companies. However, in order for companies to work profitably with relevant solutions, the latter must not just exhibit a suitable range of functions, but also be simple and intuitive, particularly for users, and appropriate for systematic use in specific daily business operations. As part of the largest independent user study in Europe1, the team of experts from Trovarit AG reports for the seventh time on how satisfied users in Germany, Austria and Switzerland are with the ERP systems they currently have in use – with particularly positive results for the Asseco Solutions ERPII solution:

customers awarded top marks for their satisfaction with APplus and voted the solution as regards user satisfaction "by far ahead" of comparatively established systems for SMEs.

According to users, the main reasons for this positive result are the flexibility and adaptability of the solution to individual requirements, its stability and reliability in daily usage, as well as its ergonomics and usability. This positive assessment enables APplus to establish itself well above the average level of user satisfaction with solutions for SMEs in this year's evaluation in both Europe and Germany. Customers in Austria and Switzerland placed APplus right at the forefront of all assessed solutions for SMEs with regard to "overall satisfaction with system" and thus awarded the best satisfaction rating to the Asseco solution.

The fact that the Karlsruhe ERP provider is constantly focusing on improvements despite continuous good positioning also became clear in the second assessment category of the survey, which correlates the results of the 2012 survey with those of the current year. According to Trovarit, APplus was able to "significantly improve" in this trend curve and, together with a second provider, far surpass the improvement level of the other solutions examined.

The Trovarit survey, which celebrated its tenth anniversary this year, received almost 2,400 assessments from executives, IT managers and IT experts from European companies of all sizes and from all sectors. As part of the survey, the participants were asked between March and July 2014 to assess their subjective satisfaction with their ERP system according to 34 criteria, as well as to make an assessment of relevant future issues. The survey focused on the benefits that the company can draw from the system, as well as the challenges faced during the implementation and deployment of the solution.

Consistent focus on user-friendliness

"Despite all objective test criteria and measurement figures it is always ultimately the users who have to deal with a particular system and who have to be able to use it successfully and appropriately in everyday working life", says Markus Haller, CEO of Asseco Solutions. "We are delighted that our solution has received such an excellent rating by users, as the result confirms that we have chosen the right approach with our focus on ergonomics and user-friendliness. From the beginning, our solution has always been developed with regard to these criteria – which is why APplus has been certified according to the European software ergonomics standard EN ISO 9241 since the start of 2011. The result of the Trovarit survey is an incentive for us to further intensify our focus in future".

Among other topics, the results of the Trovarit survey will be presented on October 8, between 2:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. at the IT & Business in Stuttgart, at which Asseco Solutions is represented in Hall 4 at Stand No. D01.
