Flourishing new customer business: Asseco Solutions continues its growth trajectory

With over 200 new customer wins in the last three years and double-digit annual revenue growth for the seventh year in a row, all the indicators at Asseco Solutions are clearly pointing to further growth. The trend has a lot to do with the company’s consistent focus on strategic areas like Industry 4.0 and digitalisation as well as the early adoption of emerging technologies like artificial intelligence (AI). To respond to the requirements generated by this ongoing expansion, the German ERP provider moved into an innovative new business centre called Raumfabrik Karlsruhe-Durlach in early September. Its 2,000 square metres give Asseco plenty of room for its existing staff as well as for future recruits to support its ongoing development.

We’ve also been true to our motto of “yes to growth – but not at any price” in that we’re very aware of our responsibilities to our existing customers as well as the new ones. We aim to support them with the same speed and reliability that we’ve always been recognised for. And that’s going to be hard to do without an increase in headcount. That’s why we decided to move into a new building in the high-tech city of Karlsruhe so that we have enough space to achieve this. We now have the prerequisites we need to give optimal support to our customers while continuing with the innovation strategy we’ve embarked on. And that includes extending our ERP portfolio with the technologies of the future such as AI.”

One of the key milestones in Asseco Solutions’ recent growth history is the purchase of a majority stake in the Austrian AI provider Salesbeat GmbH in late 2018. This has enabled the company to acquire technical expertise in the AI area and to gradually extend its existing ERP technology with new AI functions and modules. The acquisition benefits existing customers in that the technology supporting their business processes is continually enhanced. It also makes the solutions even more attractive to potential new customers as they are based on the latest scientific knowledge.
