The mobility trend has swept up e-commerce in its wake – with smartphones and tablets, shopping in one place is gradually losing ground. Instead, physical stores and online shopping are merging. Services that enable customers to check the availability of a product online before going to the nearest shop branch, along with click-and-collect, are fast becoming standard requirements. However, they can pose a challenge to logistics and supply chain management. To enable retailers to meet the cross-channel needs of their customers as efficiently as possible, the ERPII provider Asseco Solutions has partnered with the international logistics service provider DB Schenker. Their e-commerce solution Netlivery, which they developed together in Austria, gives users a single solution to handle digital sales and logistics processes. Asseco will be showcasing the new solution for the first time to the public on Stand F16 in Hall 5 at this year’s CeBIT, which takes place in Hanover from 14 to 18 March.
The solution is aimed particularly at small and medium-sized enterprises, which can benefit from Netlivery as a fast and simple introduction to online sales. With its modular structure, it can be tailored to customers’ individual requirements and they only pay for the modules they actually use. Users can add the appropriate Netlivery modules whenever necessary. The components cover practically all phases of the buying process – from web store management, online marketing and payment services to ERP, warehousing, pick & pack, distribution, product returns and customer service.
Powerful ERP functions with APplus
The Asseco solution APplus delivers all the necessary ERP functionality, including order and master data management, billing and the real-time monitoring of inventory levels. It acts as a central information hub within Netlivery, as APplus receives order data from connected systems like the web store, the customer’s ERP system and EDI. The system converts this data into APplus orders and passes the delivery information in them to DB Schenker’s logistics system. In addition, Netlivery users also benefit from the wide range of powerful reporting functions in APplus, so they always have key indicators about orders and revenues at their fingertips. Netlivery is currently available from DB Schenker in Austria.
ERP 4.0 on the Asseco stand at CeBIT
Asseco specialists will be showing the Netlivery solution in practical usage scenarios on the Asseco stand (Hall 5, Stand F16) at this year’s CeBIT, which takes place from 14 to 18 March in Hanover, Germany.
